BLOG: Human Billboard Supports Cheerful Givers
Fox national news announces the results of a creative entrepreneur who sold his last name for a year and chose to share some of his proceeds with Eagan-based nonprofit, Cheerful Givers.
Jason Sadler used to be known as the human billboard because of his business "I Wear Your Shirt." Businesses would pay to have him wear their promotional t-shirts for a day. His newest venture was to sell his last name (for the next year) to the highest bidder. The results are in and, as of today, he’ll now be known as Jason Headsetsdotcom.
Jason generously donated 10 percent of the proceeds of his name auction to Eagan-based nonprofit, Cheerful Givers. The winning bid came in at $45K, resulting in a $4,500 donation which means about 450 less fortunate kids will get gift bags on their birthday.
He announced the results on Fox national news on December 13 with a shout out to Cheerful Givers toward the end of the interview. Watch Fox News clip—http://video.foxnews.com/v/2032340257001/human-billboard-reveals-new-name
