BLOG: Thanks for Coming to Breakfast!

Attendees at Cheerful Givers breakfast fundraiser enjoyed MN Twins pitcher Brian Duensing's stories and seeing Miss Minnesota 2012.

Thanks to all who came to Cheerful Givers pancake breakfast with the Minnesota Twins!

Minnesota Twins player Brian Duensing and his wife, Lisa, joined Miss
Minnesota 2012, Siri Freeh, along with Marney Gellner of Fox Sports, Cheerful Givers volunteers and guests to enjoy a pancake breakfast at the Chart House Restaurant during the Cheerful Givers annual fundraiser on August 11.

After the crowd learned about Cheerful Givers, Brian Duensing responded to
lively questions from the audience and gave away autographed Twins items to
prize winners. Sam Smith, auctioneer, had everyone practice raising their hands
before beginning the bidding on items like the Mauer/Morneau suite and a chance
to toss out the first pitch at a game in Target Field.  Photos with and autographs from Siri Freeh, Miss Minnesota 2012 were a bonus.
