BLOG: Zest Event Has Everything for a Fun Evening

Zest is a fundraiser for our local food shelves, Eagan & Lakeville Resource Centers and Cheerful Givers. On Thursday, Sept. 20, the Lost Spur Event Center on Hwy. 13 will host a special gala starting at 6 p.m. Its a local event of global cuisine with something for everyone—fun, food and entertainment—and the evening will leave you with a good feeling as it benefits the needy in our communities.
With so many things going on at Zest, it's hard to list everything. Some of the evening will include diverse tasting from such restaurants as Andiamo, Green Mill, Buca de Beppo, Z's Diner and more. Former broadcaster Robyne Robinson will emcee the night which includes Elizabeth Reis from Twin Cities Live, chef Amalia Moreno Damgaard, blue-ribbon winner Barb Schaller and Miss Minnesota, USA.
Entertainment includes Irish dancers belly dancers and a mariachi band. A silent auction with many unique baskets and special drawing for a Wall of Wine, (an interaction contest with guests,) will keep the evening going until 10 p.m.
