AJ ALBERS Named to America East All-Conference Men's Soccer Team

AJ ALBERS, an Eagan, MN. native ( Eagan High School/MN. THUNDER USSDA Academy) is a sophomore attending University of New Hampshire ( UNH)  in Durham,New Hampshire. Albers plays Division I Men's Soccer for UNH Wildcats and was honored November 8, 2013 with the award of America East All-Conference team for the Fall 2013 season. 

Albers, a defensive mid-fielder, played in 16 of the 17 games New Hampshire played and started 14 of them. The sophomore scored his first-career goal in a 4-0 rout over Rhode Island (Sept.18) and the game winner goal in the 106th minute of overtime play over intrastate rival Dartmouth.(Oct. 29) New Hampshire Wildcats finished the season with an outstanding record of 14-5-1. UNH lost in the America East Conference Semifinals vs. Hartford,CT. by one penalty kick after a tie in regulation play  of 1-1 and 2 overtimes. 

Albers is majoring in Business and Pre-Law
