Horrible Customer Service at Umbria
We had purchased a coupon magnet for $20 to Umbria this past winter to help a local student that was disabled. We hadn't used it and decided to give it a try recently. When we called to utilize it the owner was extremely rude. I have a roommate and we wanted two separate orders (for 1 pizza and 1 order of wings). He refused to let us use two coupons and then lambasted us for trying to "work the system". He even said, "I made those coupons to make money, not lose it." I understand small business and profit margins. However, the customer service aspect and community aspect is lacking. A friendly conversation of only using 1 coupon per call would have done the trick. We didn't need a scolding. We cancelled our order and will never be customers at that establishment again. Nice "charity" work from Umbria.
