1. Lone Oak Days
On September 24 and 25, join Holz Farm in Eagan to celebrate their 1940's Fall farm fun from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. There are plenty of events for all ages during Lone Oak Days including barnyard animals, rope making, hay rides, pony rides, kid's activities and picnic food. Many free activities.
2. Sever's Corn Maze
Nothing says fall like getting lost in the world's largest corn maze in Shakopee. Open September 17 through October 30th, Sever's is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year. Open every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kids under 3 are free and ages 4 and over are $13 a piece. There are pig races, live music, a large corn pool to swim in and tons of food to pick from. You don't want to miss this favorite fall event.
3. Apple Orchard
What is fall without apples? Pick your own at Aamondt's Apple Farm in Stillwater or sample some of their delicious wines from their vineyard. There are several fun fall events happening at Aamondt's to keep you coming back.
4. Harvest Festival at Wells Fargo Family Farm
The month of October is full of fall events at the Wells Fargo Family Farm in Apple Valley at the Minnesota Zoo. Each weekend will include fall crafts, musical entertainment, and other hands-on animal fun
5. Leaf boat cruise
On September 30 and October 1 take a scenic boat tour at Taylors Falls Dining aboard a paddlewheel boat departing at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a delicious meal, live entertainment and the beauty of the changing leaves along the St. Croix River. Each trip includes a narrated scenic tour of the history and the rock formations along the river. Dinner includes: Roast Prime Rib of Beef AuJus, carved to order, with baked potato accompanied by butter and sour cream, or Boneless Breast of Chicken on a bed of wild rice served with a white wine & mushroom Sauce.
