Blotter: Caller Reports Nude Man Running Along Highline Trail

Police also responded to burglary calls and a prostitution-related complaint.

11:29 p.m.—Police responded to a theft report on the 3900 block of Valley View Dr. The caller told police someone smashed the window of his car and grabbed a bag and cooler off the back seat.

4:24 p.m.—Police responded to a disturbing the peace call on the 4300 block of Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. A caller told police that a man with short, blond hair and a skinny build was running nude on Highline Trail toward Cliff Road. Police later found the man wearing clothes and riding a bike.

4:57 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 4900 block of Rusten Rd. The caller reported that a bike, power tools and roller blades were taken from an open garage.

5:33 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 500 block of Red Oak Ct. The homeowner told police that a garage service door frame was damaged and that items from the garage were propped up against the door. The caller didn't notice any missing items.

July 18

2:36 a.m.—Police responded to a fireworks complaint on the 800 block of Wilderness Run Rd. The caller told police a group of four people were lighting fireworks in the Trapp Farm Park area. Police responding to the area cited three for underage consumption.

4:33 p.m.—Police responded to a car accident involving a bicyclist at the intersection of Diffley Road and Nicols Road in Eagan. The caller told police that his brother had been hit by a car while bicycling at 2 p.m. that afternoon. The caller told police that his brother is home with a bruise on his thigh from the accident.

9:50 p.m.—Police responded to a threats/stalking call on the 900 block of Savannah Road. The caller told police she sold a cell phone on Craigslist, and that the person who bought the phone claims he was sold a "bum" phone and threatened to beat the seller up with a bat.

11:08 p.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call at a hotel on the 3000 block of Eagandale Pl. The caller told police a woman fled out of the hotel after he asked a her for her room number. Outside, she made a phone call, and a man arrived and escorted her to a room on the fourth floor.

11:48 p.m.—Police responded to a fight on the 3100 block of Dodd Rd. on a complaint that two males were fighting outside of a bar. The caller told police that bar employees couldn't break up the fight, and that one male was beating another man's head into a set of concrete stairs. Three adults were eventually charged with disorderly conduct.
