Blotter: Neighbor Calls Police on Skinny Dippers in Apartment Pool

Eagan police responded to several burglaries and a robbery, according to police reports from July 10-15.

July 10

9:57 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary on the 3900 block of Riverton Ave. The reporting party told police that someone broke through the back service door of a garage, but didn't take anything.

11:07 a.m.—Police responded to a damage to property complaint on the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Trl. The reporting party told police that kids from a nearby apartment building threw rocks through a sliding glass door.

7:37 p.m.—Police responded to a personal injury accident at the intersection of Diffley Road and Hilltop Lane. A bicyclist was left with a bloody nose, bruised knees and a bump on her forehead after being hit by a white SUV.

July 11

3:06 p.m.—Police responded to a trespassing complaint on the 4300 block of Lexington Point Pkwy. The caller told police that six kids were vandalizing an abandoned house next door and then fled from the house after jumping a fence. Police caught up with the juveniles, who were cited and released.

8:30 p.m.—Police responded to a domestic call on the 3300 block of Alden Pond Ln. The caller told police her boyfriend tried to kill her pet bird, shoved her, and threw a wine glass.

July 12

1:04 p.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct report on Heine Strasse Road in Eagan regarding a pattern of abuse involving juveniles. 

July 13

12:23 a.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call on the 4500 block of Slater Rd. The caller told police that two juveniles were looking in car doors, checking door handles and ducking every time a car passed. The juveniles fled from police when officers arrived, but were eventually apprehended and charged with theft, among other charges.

1:37 p.m.—Police responded to a robbery call on the 1500 block of Deerwood Dr. The caller told police her 15-year-old son and a friend were robbed and assaulted by two suspects. The son was punched and had $60 cash taken, while the friend only had $20 in cash taken. Police arrested one suspect, who was charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of simple robbery.

8:16 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 500 block of Rolling Hills Pl. The caller told police that someone broke into a garage and took a checkbook, GPS and wallet.

July 14

10:42 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 1000 block of Kenneth St. The reporting party told police that two people were recently talking about how they burglarized a house and stole $3,000 in silver coins from the residence. Police visited the house in question, which appeared to have been burglarized, but was a "garbage house".

July 15

12:49 a.m.—Police responded to a trespassing call on the 3500 block of Lexington Ave. The reporting party told police that one female and two males were trespassing in an apartment complex pool and that all three were naked. The reporting party later determined that one of the pool-goers lived at the complex.

9:26 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary call at a business on the 3400 block of Denmark Ave. The caller told police that a rear store window was damaged and that someone gained entrance to a back office in the business. No money was missing.
