11:01 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 4200 block of Lexington Ave. A restaurant employee told officers he had just arrived at work, only to notice that the door lock was broken and the cash register and a safe were missing. Police processed the scene, but found little evidence.
8:08 p.m.—Police responded to a weapons call on the 700 block of Windmill Ct. The reporting party told an officer that someone had been shooting a pellet gun at his kitchen window, and that there is now a hole in the window. The last shot he heard was five minutes before police arrived. Police canvassed the area and tracked a set of footprints in the freshly fallen snow to a nearby residence. One of the residents allegedly admitted he had shot the window out.
8:19 a.m.—Police responded to a theft report on the 1500 block of Thomas Lake Pointe Rd. The reporting party told police that someone took $1,000 worth of golf clubs from an underground garage stall.
7:30 p.m.—Police responded to a disturbing the peace call on the 1900 block of Bear Path Trl. The reporting party told officers that a neighbor was playing loud music. An officer, when he arrived, could hear "loud bass" from a block away, and issued a citation to the person responsible.
9:51 p.m.—Police responded to a theft report on the 2100 block of Viburnum Trl. A man told police that he left an intoxicated person sleep in his vehicle, only to later find his vehicle missing. Shakopee police contacted Eagan officers later to inform them that they had arrested the person in question for driving while intoxicated.
12:28 a.m.—Police responded to a fire alarm on the 2000 block of Silver Bell Rd. The reporting party, a neighbor, told police that she could smell burnt food and could hear a smoke detector going off. Police found a semi-conscious man inside the apartment suffering from smoke inhalation and severe alcohol impairment. After coming around, he told emergency responders he had been trying to cook sausages on the stove.
8:56 a.m.—Police responded to a damage to property incident on the 3500 block of Sawgrass Trl. The reporting party told officers that a new home under construction had been vandalized over the weekend. The vandals spray-painted the windows and doors of the home, causing $2,000 in damage.
