Blotter: Upset About Food Order, Customer Threatens to Throw Feces

Police also responded to a handful of threat/stalking calls and burglaries, according to the police reports from May 31 through June 10.

7:19 a.m.—Police responded to a personal injury accident at the intersection of Cliff Rd. and Slater Rd. Multiple people called to report the accident, which involved a bicyclist and a vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to a hospital with a collarbone injury.

8:13 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 800 block of Great Oaks Trl. The caller told police a laptop, Xbox and jewelry were missing from a home.

6:00 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary on the 1600 block of Donald Ct. The homeowner told police an iPod, two house keys, a small safe and a laptop were missing.

June 2

4:18 p.m.—Police and firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on the 3600 block of Blue Jay Way. The homeowners told police they believe an exhaust fan started a fire in the attic of the home. The homeowners tried to put out the fire, but their efforts didn't work.

4:44 p.m.—Police responded to a disturbing the peace call on the 2100 block of Shale Ln. Officers transported one man to jail for second degree assault, after police learned the man had picked up a knife and was trying to scare a victim with it while he questioned the victim about a missing TV.

June 4

10:03 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 3700 block of Vermillion Ct. S. The reporting party told police someone broke into his house overnight and took two laptops, an engagement ring, two wallets and a Bose docking station. 

7:01 p.m.—Police and firefighters responded to a house fire on the 1600 block of Walnut Ln. The homeowners told police they were warming up a grill on the back deck of the house when they heard a pop and saw flame shooting out from the grill's propane tank. The flames eventually spread to the back and roof of home. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze.

June 5

1:10 p.m.—Police responded to an animal call on the 1800 block of Bear Path Trl. The caller told police that dogs from a nearby home ran out and attacked another dog.

6:18 p.m.—Police responded to multiple calls concerning a young child walking alone along Cliff and then Lexington Roads. Police brought the child home. The parents told officers the boy had wanted to go to Walmart to get a Lightning McQueen toy.

6:27 p.m.—Police responded to a report of a homemade bomb detonating by the soccer fields. The reporting party told police he thought someone drove by and threw it. The bomb was constructed of a bottle.

10:48 p.m.—Police responded to a fire call on the 1000 block of Danbury Ct. The reporting party told police her husband was outside attempting to put out a fire on their trampoline. The woman suspected that the trampoline was intentionally set on fire by an unhappy neighbor.

June 7

7:38 a.m.—Police responded to a report of a collision between a riding lawnmower and a Jeep at the intersection of Federal Dr. and Yankee Doodle Rd. Although the lawnmower was damaged, no injuries were reported.

12:05 p.m.—Police responded to an accident between a car and motorcycle at the intersection of Coral Ln. and Moonstone Dr. The motorcycle rider reported leg pain and a possible broken knee. He was transported to a hospital.

3:52 p.m.—Police responded to a threats/stalking call on the 3200 block of Black Oak Dr.

June 8

2:34 p.m.—Police responded to a threats/stalking call at a restaurant on the 1900 block of Silver Bell Rd. The restaurant manager told police an irate customer was calling in threats against the employees. The issue started earlier in the morning, the manager said, when a customer in the drive-through window had an issue with his order. The customer later appeared at the business and demanded his money back and began yelling at staff. The manager told police the customer later called a corporate office and threatened to return to the store to throw food and feces if employees ever made mistakes with his order again.

7:03 p.m.—Police responded to a threats/stalking call on the 3200 block of Hill Ridge Dr. The reporting party told police his or her teenage daughter had been threatened by the neighbors.

9:20 p.m.—Police responded to a fight report at a restaurant on the 1000 block of Diffley Rd. The caller told police roughly one dozen kids were engaged in a fight in the parking lot of the restaurant. The group broke up and left before police arrived.

June 9

2:33 p.m.—Police responded to a theft call on the 1900 block of Shawnee Rd. The reporting party told police someone had stolen her 25-foot boat. The boat was described as white with yellow graphics; it also had a sleeping compartment.

June 10

6:15 p.m.—Police responded to a report of a fight outside a restaurant on the 4600 block of Nicols Rd. The caller reported that two family members were fighting.
