Police responded to a vehicle accident at Crestridge Lane and Pilot Knob Road. One person complained of chest pain from an airbag deployment.

A caller in the 3000 block of Shields Drive reported a neighbor lying on the sidewalk, “quite drunk,” wearing only a T-shirt, with cases of beer lying beside him. Police determined that the man had injured his head and was drunk. He was taken to a hospital.

Police stopped a motorist at Central Parkway and Yankee Doodle Road and determined that the driver had an outstanding warrant for speeding and no proof of insurance. She was cited for driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance, and her vehicle was towed.

A caller in the 1000 block of Gemini Road said someone keyed her car while she was at work.

A caller in the 2200 block of Woodhill Court reported that her ex-boyfriend, against whom she had a protection order, had been sending her text messages and accessing some of her bank accounts, withdrawing money.

A caller in the 2000 block of Park Center Drive reported that a resident “seemed really confused” and was saying things that didn’t make sense. She was taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

A caller in the 4100 block of Nicols Road reported that a neighbor had put garbage in his Dumpster. The neighbor admitted to putting garbage in the Dumpster. Charges are pending.

A caller in the 2700 block of Eagandale Boulevard reported that someone hit the side of his truck while it was parked in an employee lot.

A caller in the 3700 block of Brown Bear Trail reported that someone broke into a truck overnight and stole various items.

Police responded to a vehicle accident at Lone Oak Road and Pilot Knob Road. One driver was cited for failing to stop for a red light.

A caller in the 3800 block of Heather Drive reported that someone had overdosed on anti-anxiety pills. The man told police that he wasn’t suicidal, but he took 10 pills because he believed that the Veterans Administration was giving him placebos. The pills were prescribed to help him sleep; the man told police that he had taken them two hours earlier and he was not sleepy.

Police responded to a vehicle accident at Federal Drive and Yankee Doodle Road. One driver was cited for failing to stop for a red light.

A caller in the 3700 block of Brown Bear Trail reported that someone stole a wallet from an unlocked car in an attached garage. The caller said he forgot to close the garage door, and that the suspect had used one of his credit cards.

Police responded to a vehicle accident at Duckwood Drive and Pilot Knob Road. One of the drivers told police that she pulled into a nearby parking lot to exchange information with the other driver, who left the scene.

Police stopped a motorist at Interstate 35E and Pilot Knob Road and cited the driver for driving with a canceled license and no proof of insurance. The car was impounded.

November 8

Police responded to a reported fight at Wildcats Bar & Grill in the 1400 block of Yankee Doodle Road. Police took one woman to detox.

Police stopped a motorist in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive and cited the driver for driving with a revoked license and no proof of insurance. The suspect was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

A caller in the 900 block of Wescott Trail reported neighbors “screaming and fighting,” with a lot of people going in and out of the apartment. A man and a woman left the building and were arguing outside in the courtyard. Police took the woman to detox.

Police made a followup visit to a home in the 1600 block of Hickory Hill Drive after the resident was warned about violating the city’s junk vehicle ordinance. The vehicle was still on the premises, and police left a citation and a warning that if it is not removed in 10 days, the owner would be cited again and the vehicle removed at his or her expense.

The Holiday station in the 2600 block of Eagan Woods Drive reported a gasoline drive-off.

A caller in the 900 block of Park Knoll Drive reported that someone was fraudulently using his credit card in Pennsylvania. He told police that he had used the new card himself only twice, once at an Eagan store and once at a Bloomington restaurant.

Police received a 911 hangup from Springhill Suites in the 3600 block of Crestridge Drive. When the dispatcher called back, the hotel manager said an officer was needed because of a female guest who used someone else’s identification to rent a room. Police determined that the woman had an outstanding warrant for prostitution; she “pretty much admitted” that she was using the room to work as a prostitute. Police told her to leave and warned her that if she came back, she would be arrested for trespassing.

Police responded to a vehicle accident in the 3900 block of Cedar Grove Parkway. One driver backed into another one, causing “very minor” damage.

Police stopped a motorist at Lone Oak Road and Vince Trail and cited the driver for driving with a suspended license. The woman also had an outstanding warrant for being involved in an “unattended collision.”

An employee of Homestead Studio Suites Hotel in the 3000 block of Denmark Avenue reported that a female guest was smoking marijuana in a room. Police determined that the woman had outstanding warrants in Michigan and Goodhue County and transported her to jail.

Police responded to a vehicle accident at Cliff Road and Thomas Center Drive and cited one driver.

Police responded to a reported intentional drug overdose in the 4300 block of Jasper Drive. The woman was taken to a hospital.

The Amoco station in the 4600 block of Slater Road reported a $49.10 gasoline drive-off. Police traced the license plate and identified the suspect.

Lone Oak Market in the 1200 block of Lone Oak Road reported a $59.75 gasoline drive-off.

Police received a 911 hangup call from the Budget Host Inn in the 2700 block of Highway 55. Police found drugs in a guest room and took one woman to jail and one man to a hospital.

A caller reported a “smash and grab” theft at Anna Chung’s restaurant in the 1900 block of Cliff Lake Road. She said she went into the restaurant to pick up a takeout order, and when she returned she found her car window smashed and her purse missing.

A caller reported that someone broke a window on her car and stole her purse while she was parked at Snap Fitness in the 1900 block of Cliff Lake Road.

Police stopped a motorist at Cedar Avenue and Diffley Road and cited the driver for violating an instructional permit and no proof of insurance. The car was towed.

Police responded to a vehicle accident in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive. Someone hit a car in the parking lot and left the scene; a witness left a note on the car with possible license plate information.

November 9

Police stopped a motorist at Cedar Avenue and Cliff Road and cited the driver for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed.

Police stopped a motorist in the 2700 block of Pilot Knob Road. The driver was cited for driving with a revoked license and drug possession.

Police responded to a vehicle accident at Diffley Road and Johnny Cake Ridge Road. One of the drivers fled the scene, but returned within a few minutes.

A caller in the 2100 block of Rocky Rapids Way reported that someone stole a package containing a leather jacket from the front porch.

A caller in the 1800 block of Bluestone Drive East reported that someone stole change from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

A caller in the 1700 block of Taconite Trail reported finding two garage door remotes and a cell phone in his yard.

Police responded to a vehicle accident in the 1900 block of Timber Wolf Trail North. Someone hit the victim’s van while it was parked on the street and fled the scene.

A caller in the 3200 block of Hill Ridge Drive reported that someone spray-painted two windows on a vehicle.

An employee of Eagan Montessori & Child Care in the 1200 block of Lone Oak Road reported that someone broke a car window and stole two bank bags.

Police stopped a motorist at Interstate 35E and Yankee Doodle Road and cited the driver for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

A caller in the 4300 block of Jasper Drive reported that her daughter was removed from the home the night before for an overdose, and afterward she found “lots of drugs and drug paraphernalia” in her daughter’s purse.

A caller in the 1900 block of Shawnee Road reported that someone stole radios from two cars overnight.

Police responded to a report of a suicidal woman in the 3300 block of Coachman Road. The woman had been drinking and cut her hand with a knife; she told police she was feeling suicidal and wanted help. The woman was taken to a hospital.

November 10

A police squad car collided with a deer at Cliff Road and Parkridge Drive, causing a dent in the car. “The deer fled on foot and got away,” the report notes.
