Sept. 15

-A caller in the 4500 block of Slater Road reported that someone shot out the windows of a car with a BB or pellet gun.

-A caller in the 2100 block of Garnet Drive reported that someone broke the back window of a car parked on the street.

-A caller in the 2200 block of Clark Street reported that someone smashed out the back window of a car.

-Police arrested a man in the 900 block of Apollo Road on an outstanding domestic assault warrant from Bloomington.

-A caller reported a case of criminal sexual conduct in Eagan about 10 years ago. The caller said the suspect was identified from old photographs.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Oak Chase Lane reported that someone broke into a vehicle and stole a large duffel bag full of clothes.

-The SuperAmerica station in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive reported a $32.42 gasoline drive-off.

-A caller in the 4200 block of Daniel Drive reported that someone shot out the front window of a car parked on the street with a BB gun.

-A caller in the 800 block of Curry Trail reported that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her, grabbing her arms and moving her out of a doorway that she was blocking so he couldn’t leave. The woman said they broke up a month ago and she has been calling, texting and e-mailing him, and that she had been served with a restraining order. Police advised her of the rules for a restraining order.

-A caller in the 4300 block of Metcalf Drive reported that someone stole a set of golf clubs from an open attached garage.

-An employee at Best Buy in the 1200 block of Town Centre Drive reported that someone was switching UPC codes on products in the store with UPC codes that they apparently printed themselves.

-A caller in the 1100 block of Tiffany Drive reported that someone broke a window on a vehicle.

-Police responded to a three-car accident at Cliff Road and Robert Trail South. One driver was cited for following too closely.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Woodgate Court reported seeing a disturbing post on an online Disney game site. Someone posted, “Hey hey hey it’s me I gotta gun I’ve killed a lot of penguins and now I’m coming to kill you.”

-Police stopped a vehicle at Blackhawk Road and Diffley Road and cited a 55-year-old woman for failure to signal, having an open bottle of alcohol in a vehicle and refusing to submit to a breath test. The woman was taken to detox.

-Police stopped a vehicle at Cedar Avenue and Highway 13 East and cited the driver for driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance.

Sept. 16

-Police stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive and cited the driver for underage drinking.

-An employee of Sarpino’s in the 1500 block of Cliff Road reported that someone pried open the office door and took $7 in change.

-A caller in the 1400 block of Lone Oak Road reported that an 8-year-old child was bitten by a dog while walking to school. The dog was being walked by its owner. Police set up patrols to track down the dog.

-A caller in the 4100 block of Rahn Road reported that her boyfriend had taken her laptop computer and iPad and pawned them. The suspect admitted to police that he had a gambling problem and that he had pawned the items for $525, which he lost gambling. Police were able to recover the laptop.

-A caller in the 3200 block of Dodd Lane reported that 2- and 3-year-old neighbor children had thrown rocks and damaged the new doors on her home.

-Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Lone Oak Road. A female driver told police that her car had been rear-ended by a semi-truck.

-A caller in the 900 block of Wescott Trail reported that a previous landlord was dumping trash at the apartment complex and showing the property, even though he had no authority to do so because the property is in foreclosure.

-A caller in the 3800 block of Pilot Knob Road reported that he “sold computers to the terrorists in 1999.”

-A caller in the 1600 block of City View Drive reported that someone marked the siding on her home with black shoe polish.

-A caller in the 3200 block of Alden Pond Lane told police that she was cleaning a townhome when she found a photo stuck to the side of the refrigerator that might indicate child pornography.

-A caller in the 1700 block of Bluebill Drive told police that she had received a call that her grandson was in jail in Mexico and needed bail money. The caller suspected that the call was an attempted telephone scam.

-A caller in the 1600 block of Oakbrooke Drive reported seeing chickens at a home in the neighborhood. The homeowner was warned and given until Oct. 1 to remove the chickens.

-The Holiday station in the 3000 block of Holiday Lane reported a $28.21 gasoline drive-off.

-Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cliff Drive and Nicols Road. Police cited one driver for speeding.

-A caller in the 1000 block of Kettle Creek Road reported that she was beaten up by her boyfriend, and that she suspected he was on his way to the bank to remove all the money from their joint account. Police stopped the man and arrested him for domestic assault.

-An employee of Cub Foods in the 1000 block of Diffley Road reported a 15-year-old boy in custody for shoplifting. The boy told police he had stolen plastic sandwich bags for the “weed his boys have,” but that “his boys” had ditched him when he got caught. The boy was cited for theft and released to his mother.

-Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Mike Collins Drive and Yankee Doodle Road in which a semi-truck scraped the side of a car. There were no injuries and no citations.

-A caller at Kohl’s in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive reported “possible shoplifters” in the store, identifying them as two women in the fitting room with two children. Police cited both women for shoplifting.

Sept. 17

-An employee of Walmart in the 1300 block of Town Centre Driver reported that four people had left the store after stealing “a bunch” of cell phones, though employees said they didn’t see the suspects leave the store with any items.

-An employee of Perkins in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive reported that two men had “dined and dashed,” leaving the restaurant on foot in the direction of Walmart. The caller said the cook was chasing the two, but was unable to catch them.

-A caller in the 1100 block of Aquarius Lane reported that four cars in the neighborhood had their back windows broken out overnight.

-A caller in the 4000 block of States Avenue reported that someone dumped sand on the front step, left a swastika symbol and broke the sprinkler and left it on top of a car.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Circle reported that the rear window of a home was broken by what appeared to be a BB gun.

-A caller in the 3900 block of Westbury Drive reported that someone shot out the back window of a vehicle with a BB gun.

-A caller in the 4100 block of States Avenue reported that someone left a swastika symbol on the property.

-An employee of Best Buy in the 1200 block of Town Centre Drive reported that a man had stolen an XBox game system and fled the store in a black SUV.

-A caller in the 1900 block of Silver Bell Road reported that a 13-year-old boy was “flipping out” in the parking lot. The boy’s mother was attempting to hold him down when police arrived. The boy, who has “multiple psychological problems,” became aggressive with his mother and had to be restrained. He was taken to a hospital.

-Lucky’s gas station in the 3300 block of Coachman Road reported a gasoline drive-off.

-A caller in the 4800 block of Four Seasons Drive reported a suspicious person going door to door soliciting money for an unknown cause. The woman’s supervisor was cited for soliciting without a permit.

-A caller in the 1300 block of Crestridge Lane reported two group-home residents “out of control,” saying one was kicking and threatening him. Authorities transported one of the two residents to a hospital.

-A caller in the 3500 block of Blue Jay Way reported that someone broke into her house while she was asleep. She said she woke up to find a man in her bedroom, so she jumped out of the other side of the bed and ran to a neighbor’s home. Police found nobody in the house and no signs of forced entry.
