Sept. 29

-A caller in the 3900 block of Valley View Drive reported that the rear windows were smashed out of two vehicles.

-A caller at Cliff Road and Pilot Knob Road reported that someone shot out the window of his son’s car with a BB gun while it was stopped at a light.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Trail reported that her landlord was repeatedly ringing the doorbell, then entered the home through a window and was in the garage. The caller said the landlord was having a verbal dispute with her boyfriend. Police said trespassing charges might be filed against the landlord.

-A caller in the 3900 block of Thames Avenue reported that someone stole front and back license plates from a car parked on the street.

-The Holiday station in the 4500 block of Nicols Road reported a gasoline drive-off. Police tried to stop the suspect, but she drove away; officers said the “investigation shall wage on.”

-Police stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Promenade Place and discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant. The suspect paid the amount due in cash and was released.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Circle reported that she had received a note in which someone threatened to shoot her. The caller apparently wrote similar notes to other people in the neighborhood.

-A caller in the 3700 block of Burgundy Drive reported that someone had made unauthorized charges on her credit card totaling $666.

-Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Diamond Drive and Diffley Road. Two people were arrested and taken to jail.

-A caller in the 1600 block of Oak Ridge Circle reported that her son was trying to commit suicide after punching holes in her bedroom door. The son told his mother he was “going on the run.” Police intervened, and the son agreed to stay home.

-A caller in the 800 block of Basswood Lane reported that she had just chased away two people who broke into her car, which was parked in her driveway. She chased the suspects to a car, which drove away but was stopped by police.

-Police stopped a motorist at Crestridge Lane and Denmark Avenue and arrested the driver on an outstanding warrant.

Sept. 30

-The Holiday station in the 3000 block of Holiday Lane reported a $91.15 gasoline drive-off.

-Police stopped a vehicle at Denmark Avenue and Wescott Road and cited the driver for marijuana possession.

-A caller in the 3300 block of Heritage Lane told police that she had found stolen mail in her home, and she believed her son – who delivers newspapers – had stolen it.

-A caller in the 1800 block of Bear Path Trail reported that a vehicle was ransacked for a second time in three days, but nothing was taken.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Trail reported that someone broke a vehicle window overnight. Nothing appeared to be missing.

-Police responded to a location where staff members were complaining about an apparently drunk resident. The woman was picked up by a friend.

-A caller in the 3500 block of Federal Drive reported that someone had made unauthorized charges on his credit card several times over the last few days.

-A caller in the 3700 block of Greensboro Court reported that someone tried to get her to pay for a wheelchair listed on Craigslist as part of a scam.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Johnny Cake Ridge Road reported that someone stole items from a home for sale during a showing. The caller said cash, jewelry and a camera were missing from the home.

-A caller in the 500 block of Crane Creek Lane reported that she was being followed by a man and a woman in a white conversion van. The caller said she had been the victim of a scam in St. Paul in which a woman said her tire was flat and asked for $50; she said she thought the people following her were part of the scam.

-A caller in the 3800 block of Pilot Knob Road reported being the victim of a telephone scam in which he sent more than $900 via Moneygram to Minsk.

-A caller in the 2100 block of Emerald Lane reported an altercation between a mother and daughter, who were yelling at one another outside. The daughter eventually left.

-A caller in the 2200 block of Cliff Road reported that several people tried to steal a bike. Police tracked down the suspects and arrested one person for attempted theft.

-A caller in the 4500 block of Cinnamon Ridge Trail reported that a bike was stolen.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Trail reported that two windows were broken on a vehicle while it was parked on the street.

-The SuperAmerica in the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive reported a $49.73 gasoline-drive off.

-A caller in the 800 block of Suncrest Court reported that someone entered a garage and stole a laser detector from a car.

-Police stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Thomas Lake Pointe Road and cited the driver for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

-Police stopped a vehicle at Civic Center Drive and Wescott Road and cited the driver for driving with a canceled license.

-A caller in the 4700 block of Lenore Lane reported receiving harassing text messages and phone calls from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend.

Oct. 1

-Police found a man slumped over in a running vehicle at Wilderness Curve and Wilderness Run. Police cited him for DUI and released him to his wife.

-Police responded to an accident at Interstate 35E and Pilot Knob Road in which the driver of a semi-truck hit a light post.

-A caller in the 4500 block of Slater Road reported a domestic disturbance. Police confirmed a domestic no-contact order in effect, but the victim wouldn’t admit to the suspect being in the home.

-A caller in the 1300 block of Jurdy Road reported two suspicious people in Moonshine Park. Police cited two men for possession of ecstasy and will mail a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were also warned about being in a park after hours.

-A caller in the 4600 block of Westwood Lane reported that someone broke a storm door while the owner was on vacation.

-A caller reported that she had not seen her 9-year-old son since July 18, and the child’s father would not reveal his whereabouts. Police advised her to seek help from family court.

-A caller in the 1300 block of Sigfrid Street East reported at 12-year-old boy acting violent and “out of control.” The boy’s parents said they believed his medications were not working properly. He was taken to a hospital.

-A caller in the 900 block of Wescott Trail reported a 15-year-old boy setting off fireworks in Wescott Commons Park. While police were on the scene, a woman walked up and struck the boy. The woman was arrested for fifth-degree assault.

-An employee at Kwik Trip in the 3100 block of Dodd Road reported a shoplifter in custody. Police cited the female suspect for theft.

-Police served an outstanding arrest warrant on a woman in the 4500 block of Slater Road.

Oct. 2

-Police stopped a vehicle at Interstate 494 and Pilot Knob Road and cited the motorist for driving with suspended license plates.

-Police stopped a vehicle at Dodd Road and Highway 110 and cited the driver for possession of marijuana and improper window tinting.

-Police stopped a vehicle at Highway 110 and Interstate 35E and cited the driver for DWI.

-Police responded to a report of a fight involving more than 25 people in the parking lot of Mediterranean Grill in the 1900 block of Rahncliff Court. One person was treated for minor injuries.

-Police responded to a report of a fight at the Holiday station in the 4500 block of Nicols Road. Two men were arrested and jailed for disorderly conduct.

-A caller at Diffley Road and Moonstone Drive reported a suspicious person. Police transported one man to detox.

-A caller in the 3300 block of Norwest Court reported that someone had taken her cash and ID. The victim told police that she got drunk at a party, and because she’s not allowed to go home when she’s drunk, a man she met at the party rented a hotel room for her and became upset when she wouldn’t sleep with him. She told police that the man took $100 from her and left while she was in the bathroom.

-Police responded to the 700 block of Caribou Lane where a 25-year-old woman had a seizure. The woman was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
