Eagan Woman Charged with Trying to Carve Up Husband in Domestic Dispute
If convicted, Tabitha Patterson could spend more than seven years in prison.
An Eagan woman went after her husband, neighbor and responding police officers in an alleged domestic assault Nov 26.
According to a Dakota County criminal complaint filed that day, Tabitha Patterson, 38, and her husband were engaged in a verbal dispute when her husband called a neighbor to help mediate the situation.
During the mediation process, Patterson allegedly went into the couple's kitchen, grabbed a large knife from a drawer and proceeded to chase her husband around their Eagan home.

After instructing Patterson's husband to leave the residence, the neighbor attempted to subdue Patterson with a bear-hug.
When police responded, according to the complaint, Patterson tried to grab a taser and baton from the officer.

She was arrested and charged with felony counts of terroristic threats and attempted disarming of a peace officer.
If convicted of the charges against her, Patterson could spend seven-and-a-half years in prison and be required to pay a $15,000 fine.
