Homicide Victim Shot in Burnsville Identified
The Burnsville Police Department continue to investigate the shooting, which occurred early Tuesday morning.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the victim of the shooting in Burnsville on Tuesday morning as Abdifatah Ahmed Mahumod, 23.
According to the Star Tribune, shots were fired in a residential area on the 2100 block of E. 117th Street around 2 a.m. The victims then drove to an Eagan Super America on Cliff and Slater roads. According to KARE 11, one victim was pronounced dead at the gas station scene, while the other was rushed to the hospital.

The second victim of the shooting will remained unnamed so that the ongoing investigation will not be jeopardized, the Burnsville Police Department announced.
