MAP: Three Months of Traffic Accidents in Eagan

What local intersections and roads saw the most traffic accidents in November, December and January? Eagan Patch combed through three months of accident data to find out.

On Feb. 22, a Mazda passenger car driven by 24-year-old Taya Clifford of Eagan spun into oncoming traffic on Hwy. 13 and was struck by a van. The accident claimed Clifford's life.

A few days earlier, another woman was seriously injured at the intersection of Yankee Doodle Road and Lexington Avenue when she was thrown from a vehicle, according to police reports.

Hoping to help educate readers, Eagan Patch compiled traffic accident data taken from the Eagan police reports during the months of November, December and January. The map you see is the product of that effort. Every accident reported to the Eagan Police Department during that three-month period is identified by a marker on the map.
