Missing Elk Antlers? Dakota County Sheriff's Office Seeks Owner

Individuals with information can contact the Sheriff's Office through its tip line or Facebook.

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office has recovered antlers that they believe are stolen.

Deputies found the antlers, believed to be from elk, in a stolen trailer, explained Detective Rob Hosking. He said that there are around 55 cut off antlers with tags on them.

"We’re taking a guess that they might be from an elk farm or someone who handles or has access to elks," Hosking said.

The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find the owner of the antlers.

Anyone with information can call the tip line anonymously at 651-438-8477. The Sheriff's Office also accepts messages through Facebook
