UPDATED: Woman Trapped in Partially Submerged Car in Critical Condition

A local cyclist spotted the car Saturday morning after a 67-year-old woman lost control of her car in Plymouth.

A 67-year-old woman remains in critical condition after her car veered off the road and into a pond in Plymouth.

According to KSTP, Nancy Breberg of Centerville, was looking for a hotel in St. Louis Park when she lost control of her vehicle and landed in a small pond near 10th Avenue and Revere Lane in Plymouth. She was trapped in her partially submerged car for 18 hours until a bicyclist found her Saturday.

Her husband reported her missing Friday night. Saturday morning Geoffrey Racette of Plymouth was riding by the area, noticed Breberg in the car and called police. The Plymouth Fire Department was able to pull the woman from the car quickly. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation.

Breberg does have frost bite on her toes and is currently sedated at Hennepin County Medical Center.
