Monday Storm Caused Nine-Vehicle Accident on Dodd Road

Sheriff's officials described the scene as a case of "snow bumper cars."

The Monday storm that dropped several inches of snow and brought high winds to Dakota County had another unfortunate side-effect, according to the Dakota County Sheriff's Office.

Because of poor conditions, nine vehicles collided in a case of "snow bumper cars" on Dodd Road south of County Road 70, sheriff's office officials said. All drivers were traveling at relatively low speeds, sheriff's deputies said. The crash resulted in minor injuries to several drivers.
