The victim told police that Davis, the father of her children, had beaten her up the night before. Police noted that she had visible injuries, including a swollen, bruised right eye, bruised capillaries in the whites of her eyes, a cut down the center of her nose, scratches and bruises on her neck and bruises and bite marks up and down her arms.

The victim told police that the argument began when Davis began looking through the numbers on her cell phone. She said he found some men’s numbers on the phone, got upset and wouldn’t return the phone to her.

Davis suddenly reached out, grabbed her by the hair and pulled her down, ripping out a chunk of her hair, she said. She said she went into the bathroom, and as she stood looking in the mirror, Davis walked in and punched the right side of her face with a closed fist.

The victim’s nose began to bleed, and Davis grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the floor and kicked her, according to the complaint. She got away and ran into the bedroom, where Davis grabbed her again, slammed her head into the bed and held her down, she told police.

During the assault in the bedroom, Davis grabbed the victim’s breasts and “squeezed in an extreme manner,” telling her to keep quiet and stop screaming, the complaint says.

The victim gave police an address where she thought Davis might be. When police arrived, they found a woman who told them that Davis had just left; she told police that she had heard “arguing and fighting” coming from the victim’s apartment the night before.

The woman told police that Davis knocked on her window after she heard the argument and told her he had fought with the victim and needed a place to stay. She said she told him he could sleep on her couch, and she went back to bed.

The next morning, the woman told police, Davis woke up, shouted that he needed to leave and “took off.” Police arrived minutes later, she said.

The victim sought medical treatment for her injuries and learned that Davis broke her nose when he hit her, according to the complaint.

Davis’ whereabouts are unknown. Anyone with information on him is asked to contact their local police.
