Two Men Accused of Breaking into Storage Facility in Eagan

Ronald Roy Johnson and Jason Paul Hirman each face one count of third-degree burglary for allegedly stealing a TV and other items from a storage unit.

A surveillance video led Eagan police to a pair of Bloomington men who are accused of burglarizing a storage unit in Eagan on July 24.

Ronald Roy Johnson, 42, and Jason Paul Hirman, 42, each face one count of felony third-degree burglary, according to criminal charges filed by the Dakota County Attorney's Office. If convicted, Johnson and Hirman could each face a maximum of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Eagan police were called to the storage facility on July 24 and met with an employee of the business, who told the police a storage unit used by the business' management was burglarized on July 19. A weedwhacker, flatscreen TV and some blankets were taken from the locker, the employee told officers.
