Eagan Cable: Have You Registered for a Focus Group Yet?

The focus groups will take place at different times from Nov. 12-14. Registration is encouraged by Nov. 7.

As part of Eagan's cable franchise renewal process, the city will hold six community focus groups on community media and to receive feedback on cable customer service expectations.

“How we communicate with each other, locally, is more important than ever before,” said Eagan City Administrator Dave Osberg in a news release from the city. “We want to hear from the entire community about ways to enhance Eagan Television and community media to meet the communication needs of our residents, local groups and businesses."

With Comcast seeking to renew it's franchise, which ends January 15, it is important that the city documents expectations the public has for customer service from a cable provider, according to the release.

The sessions are scheduled during daytime and evening hours from Nov. 12-14. Although the sessions will focus on different interest areas, the questions covered will be the same. Residents are encouraged to sign up soon for the time that works best for them.

Walk-ins will be accepted, but registration is preferred by Nov. 7.

More information is available in Eagan's newsletter Experience Eagan, on the city's website, and in the YouTube video above. Session times are below.
