Eagan State Senator to Mingle with Voters at State Fair

During the week to come, Sen. Jim Carlson (DFL-Burnsville, Eagan) will be joining the Great Minnesota Get-together. Carlson will hold down the fort at the Minnesota Senate's state fair booth on Sept. 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Labor Day, Sept. 2, starting at 10 a.m. According to his legislative assistant, Carlson will likely be in attendance on Sept. 2 for quite a stretch—until 2 p.m. at least.  

Carlson is one of many state senators who will be on deck for the fair. The Senate booth is in the northeast corner of the Education Building, which is at the intersection of Dan Patch and Snelling Avenues.
