Editor's Note: The following is a press release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

You may want to plan for some detours overnight next week as the ramps at Hwy. 77 and Hwy. 13 will close.

Beginning 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4 southbound Hwy. 77 will have the right lane closed between the Minnesota River Bridge and 13. Along with this lane closure the ramp to westbound Hwy. 13 will also close for paving.

On Wednesday night, the eastbound 13 ramp to southbound 77 will close at 7 p.m. Make sure to follow the signed detour using County Road 30/Diffley Road. The lane and ramps will open by 11 a.m. each day Sept. 5-6.

For the holiday weekend- Northbound 77 will be open to two lanes starting Friday at noon but will drop back to a single lane at 5 a.m. Sept. 4 to continue the concrete repairs.

Just a reminder, speeds have been reduced from 65 mph to 50 mph within the work zone and fines for speeding are doubled.
