Parkview Golf Course Fight Coming to Eagan Planning Commission

Eagan's Advisory Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Tuesday to discuss a proposed residential development on the Parkview Golf Club property.

A controversial redevelopment proposal for will get its first public hearing in front of the Eagan Advisory Planning Commission on Tuesday night.

The planning commission hearing is the first step in a lengthy approval process for the proposed redevelopment.

If the planning commission recommends approval of the Comprehensive Guide Plan amendment for the redevelopment, the amendment would go to the Metropolitan Council for approval before returning to the Eagan City Council. Before the development could move forward, the council would also have to approve a rezoning and subdivision request, according to Community Development Director Jon Hohenstein.
