VIDEO: Democratic Chair Criticizes Republican Legislators at Eagan Event

State DFL Chair Ken Martin addressed supporters at Senate District 38 DFL group's True Blue Party on Sunday.

State DFL Party Chair Ken Martin accused Republican legislators of "saying one thing and doing another" at a political gathering in Eagan on Sunday.

Martin was speaking in front of supporters at Senate District 38 DFL group's True Blue Party at a private home in Eagan. A number of Democratic candidates for the local House and Senate seats, statewide DFL office holders and Minnesota DFL party officials convened with local residents during the event.

Martin critiqued the state's Republican majority in the legislature for its lack of focus on job creation and inability to strike compromises with Democratic legislators. among other shortcomings

"How did we get to this point where an oath to a political party takes precedence and priority over the oath to the citizens that people serve?" Martin asked during his speech.
