Eagan High School Hockey Star Zach Glienke Signs Letter of Intent

Fellow high school athletes Tony Sarne, Drew Nichols and Sonja Hedblom also signed letters of intent on Wednesday.

The University of Maine's academics and hockey tradition proved irrestible for Eagan High School hockey star Zach Glienke, who was among four EHS students to sign national letters of intent Wednesday morning.

Glienke and fellow high school athletes Tony Sarne, Drew Nichols and Sonja Hedblom declared their intention to play collegiate-level sports during a ceremony at Eagan High School. Sarne plans to play football at the University of Mary in North Dakota, Nichols intends to pursue tennis at St. Cloud State University and Hedblom will take on nordic skiing at Michigan Technological University.
