Eagan High School Students Take Top ACT Scores

Eagan High School students had higher ACT average composite scores than students in the district, the state and the country.

ACT scores for 2011 are in, and the average composite score for Eagan High School students was 25, according to a statement from Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan schools.

Students taking the college prep exam throughout the district had an average composite score of 24. Statewide, the score was 22.9, according to a statement from the local school district. Nationally it was 21.1.

The district said 1,672 of its students took the exam -- or, 83 percent of the graduating class. Statewide, 72 percent of graduating students took the test.
