Editor's Note: The following is a press release from the Eastview Community Foundation.

Eastview Community Foundation invites you to Art Madness, an unforgettable evening of cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres in a unique “barn” setting—with all proceeds supporting our students, teachers and schools!

Art Madness will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at The Barn at Spirit Brandtjen Farms located at 16972 Brandtjen Farm Drive in Lakeville. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.evcf.org for $35 or at the door for $40. All tickets purchased before October 10, 2012 will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate at Zest Restaurant in Eagan.

The silent auction includes more than 100 original art treasures including pictures, photography, jewelry, embroidery, quilting, pottery and sculpture. There is Art for all budgets! The auction will also feature a wide variety of non art items as well.

This year’s featured artist is Kevin Fitzke, a 2001 graduate of Eastivew High School. Kevin has his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institutes International-Minnesota. His work has been commissioned in residential and commercial spaces in Las Vegas, Nevada, Minneapolis and St. Paul. He has also been featured in galleries throughout the Twin Cities, used in advertisement, been published in the “International Contemporary Masters vol. III” art book and, most recently, Metro Magazine.

During the event attendees will be able to watch Kevin in action as he paints a piece of art that will be auctioned off at the end of the event.

The Eastview Community Foundation provides financial support to students, teachers and schools in the Eastview community through scholarships and grants. Since 2000, the foundation has granted over $465,000 in scholarships to 714 seniors and over $125,000 in grants to teachers and schools.
