Support Mike Obermueller at your precinct caucus Tues Feb 4

The most recent poll for the Second Congressional District was done in late October.  It shows Mike Obermueller leading the race for Congress by four points over the incumbent.  That incumbent, John Kline, has a record which has hurt middle-income people.  He supports interest rates on student loans which raise college costs; he refuses to extend emergency unemployment benefits; he works against a minimum wage increase; he blocks immigration reform.  It’s obstruction, plain and simple.

It’s time we changed the person who represents Minnesota’s Second District in Congress.  We have a chance to begin doing that this coming Tuesday night, February 4 at your precinct caucus.  Your precinct convenes at 7:00 PM, and it would be good to arrive at 6:30 to find the room for your precinct.  To check your caucus location, you can go to caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us.  Each of us can become a delegate to the next step, the endorsing convention for the State House of Representatives and State Senate.  And we can support Mike Obermueller for Congress for the kind of results Mike advocates: jobs, educational opportunity for all our young people regardless of their family's wealth, and an end to tax-breaks which favor only those who are well-off, at the expense of the rest of us.
