Several players also made their respective all-tournament teams.

District 196's Dakota United Hawks adapted hockey teams went into the state tournament this past weekend with perfect or near-perfect records—and as No. 1 seeds—and came away among the top finishers in the two divisions. The tournament took place at Bloomington Jefferson High School.

The Dakota United team in the physically impaired division was state runner-up, losing Saturday's championship game 7-2 to Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound West, last year's champion.

The PI team entered the tournament 11-1-2, and won its first two rounds of play, beating Maple Grove 7-5 in its quarterfinal and Annoka-Hennepin 8-4 in the semifinal.
