Wildcats both begin wintry week with victories over conference opponents.
Doing the best that they can against wildly varying weather conditions, Eagan High School teams continued to compete in the early stages of their respective seasons last week as the spring season continued despite being hampered by some wintry elements.
Eagan Softball: Wildcats 11, Bloomington Jefferson 8
The Eagan softball team improved to 3-2 on the season with an 11-8 road win at South Suburban Conference rival Bloomington Jefferson on Monday afternoon.

Kendra Callister went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two batted in, with Kendra Karel smacking a three-run double; starting pitcher Madison Haus hurled four innings and gave up one earned run on five hits.

Eagan Baseball: Wildcats 7, Bloomington Jefferson 1
A 7-1 thumping of Bloomington Jefferson on the road improved the Eagan baseball team to 4-2 on the season with its highest single-game offensive output of the young season.
Eric Peterson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, with pitcher David Stevens earning the victory.
The Wildcats are 3-2 in the South Suburban heading into a scheduled Wednesday matchup against visiting conference rival Lakeville North on Wednesday.
Eagan Boys Golf: Wildcats Fourth In South Suburban Meet
The Eagan boys golf team carded a team score of 318 to finish fourth at the South Suburban Golf Meet at Minnesota Valley Country Club on Monday. Individual results were not available.
