Eagan Competes In Mid-Week Matchups

WIldcats competed in a moderate schedule on Wednesday and Thursday.

Mid-week matchups got off without a hitch for Eagan sports squads as a moderate schedule met with median temperatures to make contests a pleasurable experience for both participants and fans.

Eagan Boys Lacrosse: Wildcats 10, Eagan 4

The Eagan boys lacrosse team topped visiting Breck, 10-4, in a non-conference game on Wednesday night.

Connor Simpson scored four goals for the Wildcats, with Dan Bausman netting two tallies.

Eagan, now 6-1 on the spring, travels to Eastview on Friday for a 6 p.m. South Suburban Conference matchup.

Eagan/Rosemount Girls Lacrosse: Wild Irish 10, Eastview 7

A 10-7 win at Eastview on Thursday boosted the Eagan/Rosemount girls lacrosse team to 3-4 this season. 

Individual results were not available. The Wild Irish host Rochester Century at Rosemount High School on Monday at 1 p.m.

Eagan Boys Tennis: Eastview 4, Wildcats 3

The Eagan boys tennis team lost its first South Suburban match of the season, 4-3, to Eastview on Thursday. The Wildcats are now 9-4 overall and 6-1 in the conference. Results from Thursday's match were not available.

Eagan Baseball: Wildcats Split Midweek Games

The Eagan baseball team finished the week with a 10-5 overall record and are currently 7-5 in the conference after an 8-5 defeat of Prior Lake on Wednesday and a 3-2 loss to Eastview on Thursday.

Individual statistics were not made available. The Wildcats play at Bloomington Kennedy on Monday at 4:15 p.m.

Eagan Softball: Wildcats Win, Lose On Wednesday, Thursday

A split of its mid-week games for the Eagan softball team left the Wildcats with a 7-4 overall record and a 5-4 conference mark.

Eagan lost 6-0 to No. 1-ranked Burnsville on Wednesday, then topped Lakeville North 2-0 on Thursday.

Individual statistics were not made available. The Wildcats play at Prior Lake on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
