Eagan Girls' Hockey Improves to 4-0

The Eagan girls’ hockey team improved to 4-0 on Saturday with a 3-2 overtime victory against Park of Cottage Grove.
Alanna Stangl scored the game-winner with 48 seconds remaining in overtime. Alyssa Markstrom recorded an assist on the goal.
Park of Cottage Grove’s Caitlin Quinn found the net less than a minute into the first period to give the Wolfpack a quick 1-0 lead. Eagan’s Emily Johannes and Megan Wolfe scored goals in the second period to put the Wildcats up 2-1 before Quinn added another goal for the Wolfpack to tie it up. Quinn’s second goal also came in the second period.
