Eagan Rolls Past South 50-0

The Wildcats will face Woodbury on Saturday, and the winner will play for the section title.

The Eagan football team defeated Minneapolis South by a 50-0 margin on Tuesday in the Section 4AAAAA quarterfinal in Eagan.

The Wildcats advance to face Woodbury in the section semifinals on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Woodbury.

Eagan picked up four touchdown runs by Michael Busch on the night, all coming in the first half. Cody Grovenstein also returned an interception 31 yards for a score.

With the win, Eagan improved to 5-4 on the season. South ends the year with a 3-6 record.
