Eagan's Carroll Named to Women’s Hockey All-America Team

Eagan High School graduate and Gustavus Adolphus senior Mollie Carroll racked up 16 goals and 22 assists this year while playing on the college's women's hockey team.

Thanks to that on-ice success, Carroll was among three Gustavus players named to the 2012 CCM Division III Women’s Hockey All-America Team. All three players were honored last week at the NCAA Championship banquet held in Rochester, N.Y., according to a press release issued by the college.

It isn't the first hockey-related recognition Carroll has received. The athlete was twice named MIAC Women’s Hockey Athlete-of-the-Week this season.
