The seventh-ranked Eagan girls soccer team hosts No. 1 Lakeville North on Tuesday, with the Wildcats needing a win to hold onto any hope of a South Suburban Conference title. The Panthers are 12-0-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the SSC, the Wildcats are 10-2 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
For Eagan, Marissa Ganske has seven goals and four assists through 12 games, with Kristen Knutson has nine shutouts in 12 games, amassing 52 saves on 55 shots this season.
For Lakeville, Simone Kolander has 16 goals and 24 assists in 13 games, with goalie Alexis Joyce logging eight shutouts and 50 saves on 54 shots.
