Loss at Burnsville last Thursday drops Eagan three spots in Class AA poll.
The Eagan girls soccer team had its five-game winning streak come to an end last week, but the Wildcats still hung on to a spot in the top-10 rankings as they headed into the second-to-last week of the regular season.

A 1-0 loss at then No. 6 Burnsville last Thursday dropped the Eagan girls soccer team from No. 4 to No. 7 in the most recent Class AA rankings with four games remaining on the pre-playoff schedule.

The Wildcats hopes of a South Suburban Conference title took a big hit in the defeat as Eagan fell to 10-2 overall and 4-2 in the circuit standings, one and a half games behind Lakeville North—with the Wildcats hosting the No. 1 Panthers on Tuesday.
Marissa Ganske continues to lead Eagan with seven goals, while Angela Lacroix's seven assists also pace the club.

Eagan Boys Soccer
A five-game undefeated streak, capped by a 3-0 win over Henry Sibley on Monday, improved the Eagan boys soccer team to 9-2-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the South Suburban.
Heading into the game, AJ Albers led the ninth-ranked Wildcats with 11 goals, with Max Turnstedt's eight assists also tops on the squad.
Eagan Cross-Country
Competing against 44 other teams from several states, the Eagan girls cross-country team placed fourth in the Gold Division at the Roy Griak Invitational meet on an ideal Saturday afternoon in Falcon Heights.
Danielle Anderson's fourth-place result—third among team runners—of 18 minutes, 34 seconds paced the Wildcats to the best finish for a Minnesota squad in the top high school division.
Eagan Girls Tennis
The Eagan girls tennis team defeated Holy Angels, 6-1, on Friday to improve to 10-2 in dual matches this season. Individual statistics were not made available.
Eagan Volleyball
A 2-2 appearance in the Apple Valley Tournament was good for seventh-place and gave the sixth-ranked Wildcats a 12-3 record heading into this week.
The Wildcats defeated No. 7 Centennial, while losing to No. 2 Bloomington Jefferson and No. 3 Shakopee before topping the hosts in the seventh-place match. Individual statistics were not made available.
