Two Eagan Gymnasts Wrap Season At State Meet

Wolter places sixth in floor exercise, Palluck seventh on uneven bars at Class AA gymnastics championships.

A pair of Eagan seniors concluded their 2010-11 seasons at the Class AA state individual gymnastics championship meet on Saturday at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion.

Julia Wolter and Katie Palluck concluded their high school careers at the competition, with each claiming a top-10 finish on the night.

Wolter, competing in the all-around competition, earned a trip to the medal stand with a sixth-place result of 9.6 on floor exercise en route to taking ninth in the all-around with a four-event score of 37.725.

Palluck just missed out on a medal after taking seventh on the uneven parallel bars with a score of 9.55.
