VIDEO: Eagan High School Athletes Sign on the Dotted Line

Athletic Director Sandy Setter and several high school coaches showered 13 student athletes with praise and accolades on Wednesday morning, as part of the school's National Signing Day event.

A total of 13 high school athletes signed letters of intent to play collegiate-level sports during the ceremony, held in front of a packed room of proud family members and friends. Setter said the group was the largest ever crop of Eagan athletes to sign on to play at a college level.

The athletes, and the schools they committed to, are listed below.

• Eric Woodcock, football at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
• Connor Randall, football at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
• Aaron Roundtree, football at North Dakota State College of Science.
• Joe Machachek, football at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
• Mitch Knutson, football at St. Cloud State University.
• Grant Matthews, football at Augustana.
• Lindsey Micheletti, soccer at the University of North Dakota.
• Kristen Knutson, soccer at the University of Minnesota.
• Lauren Douglas, soccer at Southwest State University.
• A.J. Albers, soccer at the University of New Hampshire.
• Gustavo Aguilar Castro, soccer at Upper Iowa University.
• John Garcia, cheerleading at MidAmerican Nazarene University.
