Weather Continues To Hamper Wildcats
Only portion of Wildcats' mid-week sports schedule is played due to continued cold, sogginess.
With fields still drying out after the continnued rains and snows of April, several Eagan sports teams were still unable to compete in their scheduled mid-week games, as cancellations and postponements again marred the Wildcats schedules.
Baseball: Eagan 5, Lakeville South 4
The Eagan baseball team did get in its Thursday South Suburban Conference game at Lakeville South, defeating the Cougars by a score of 5-4 to improve to 8-3 overall and 5-3 in circuit play.

Wildcats starting pitcher Kevin Kunik upped his record to 3-1 with the victory, with Brett Lindsey hitting two doubles and scoring twice with one run batted in during his two charged plate appearances.
Eagan is slated to host Rosemount at 4:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Girls Lacrosse: Lakeville North 12, Eagan/Rosemount 11
The Eagan/Rosemount girls lacrosse team dropped to 2-3 on the year after a 12-11 loss at Lakeville North on Thursday night.
Simone Haugen's 11 points lead the Wild Irish as of the latest statistical update, with the district co-op team scheduled to host Bloomington Kennedy at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Girls Golf: Eagan Third In Conference Meet
The Eagan girls golf team took third place with a score of 354 in a South Suburban meet at Crystal Lake Golf Course on Thursday. Individual results were not available.
