The Eagan girls hockey team fell to 0-3 on the young season following a 2-1 loss to Eastview at the Apple Valley Sports Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
After allowing a first period goal to the host Lightning, the Wildcats went down 2-1. Eastview added a tally midway through the third period as Eagan appeared on its way to a second-consecutive shutout loss despite outshooting the Lightning nearly 2-to-1 on the night.
However, a late goal by defender Megan Juricko, scored with just 13 seconds left in the game and assisted by forward Molly Sparks and defender Crissy Economou, got the Wildcats on the board before the final horn.
