Kids 'N Kinship: Meet Albert

Albert is looking for a mentor to play sports with and enjoy movies and games.

Each week we profile a youth from the Kids 'N Kidship mentorship program.

First name:   Albert   

Age:  11

Interests:  Albert enjoys swimming, sports (such as football, basketball, and running), movies and games. 

Personality/Characteristics:  Albert is talkative and polite. He lives with his mom and brother in Eagan.  He started middle school this year and likes school, especially English and Math.

Goals/Dreams:    Albert would like to play football and basketball and catch with a mentor. 

Looking for: His wish is to have a male mentor or a couple who can help him explore his interests! Albert’s mom is hopeful that a mentor can support Albert in making positive choices.  

For More Information:  This child is one of almost 60 children currently waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private non-profit serving Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville & Rosemount in Dakota County for 39 years.

If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session on Thurs. Nov. 3rd 6-6:45 p.m. at the Galaxie Library in Apple Valley. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
