Eagan Art House Guest, Fire Prevention, School Board Candidates

Some Eagan events this week include: a guest artist at Eagan Art House will teach a Japanese bookbinding class and Easter Lutheran is hosting a blood drive.

Eagan Fire Department Open Houses

There are three open houses this week, which is the same time as Fire Prevention Week:

  • Monday, Oct. 7, 6-8 p.m. at Station 1, 3940 Rahn Road
  • Tuesday, Oct. 8, 6-8 p.m. at Station 2, 1001 Station Trail
  • Wednesday, Oct. 9, 6-8 p.m. at Station 4, 4200 Dodd Road

School Board Candidate Forum

The candidate forum for School District 196 (Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan) will be on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Rosemount City Hall, 2875 145th Street West.

A candidate forum for School District 197 (West Saint Paul, Mendota Heights, Eagan) will be held on Oct. 29.

Eagan Art House

Sheila McNellis Asato will teach a traditional Japanese bookbinding class at the Eagan Art House. The class is $30 per person, including supplies. Pre-registration is required. Class time: Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Another guest artist will teach a Maiolica tile-making class in November.
