Classical Music Kicks Off Benefit Concert Series

Also this weekend is a painting activity for Tweens and Bingo Night.

Moms Club Eagan East Open House

At this open house moms and their children can enjoy games, snacks and crafts.
Time: Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.
Location: Woodcrest Church, 525 Cliff Road in Eagan.

Moms and Neighbors Annual Bingo Night

Enjoy a night of bingo and perhaps win a prize during Bingo Night. Proceeds will benefit families in need from District 196. Contact info@momsandneighbors.org for more information. Tickets are $25.

Time: Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Coopers Bar and Grill, 4185 South Robert Trail in Eagan

Waggin' Tales at the Wescott Library

Children ages 5 to 10 will have the opportunity to read to certified therapy dogs. The activity helps reading skills, according to the information on the event page.

Time: Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Tweens Canvas and Magnet Board

The Tweens Club at Color Me Mine in Eagan will feature monthly classes for youth ages 10 to 15. Saturday's event involves using creating clay magnets and using magnetic paint to paint a scene on canvas. It costs $5 to join the Tweens Club. Club members can participate in the classes for $5.

OPEN DOORS Benefit Concert

The Dreams Song Project will kick off the seventh season of this concert series at Saints Martha and Mary Episcopal Church.  The Dreams Song Project consists of the classical guitar and voice duo of Joseph Spoelstra and Alyssa Anderson. They are in the midst of their Northern Songs Concert tour, which features the music of Minnesota composers, according to a news release.

The concert is appropriate for all ages, and will include an informal meet-and-greet with the ensemble after the performance. Anderson and Spoelstra also are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring composer Daniel Nass on the concert tour, and he will also be available for questions about his music and creative process.

Admission is free but a donation of $10 and non-perishable food items is encouraged for 360 Communities.
