First-ever 'Streets Alive' Event Hits Eagan

This Sunday a 1.5 mile stretch of road will be closed to traffic and open to yogis, square dancers and even a unicyclist or two.

Come promenade, prance and party at Eagan's newest event—Streets Alive.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, about 1.5 miles of road from the Eagan Community Center to the Promenade Shopping Center will be free of motorized vehicles. From 1 to 4 p.m. the route will be closed to all but foot, bike and skate traffic. The city has a number of  fun activities planned, with community booths, music, dance, a farmers market and more.
