Connected to Eagan High School, Dakota Hills Middle School features a "house system" for each grade. The amount of…More students in a given grade is divided in two and each made a house. The "house system" allows for students to get more one-on-one teaching and to make closer bonds with other students.
An additional way the school brings students together is by their WEB program, which stands for "Where Everyone Belongs." Eighth grade WEB leaders help new sixth grade students with adjusting to middle school life. The program helps answer students' questions, as well as bring five elementaries together with Wildcat pride. Also, students throughout the year can link back up with their original WEB mentor if they need to.
Dakota Hills Middle School has a few unique features. The school boasts two lecture rooms, similar to ones you'd find in college, as well as five ensemble rooms/music suites, which are sound proof.
