State Patrol: Brodkorb's Alcohol Level Was Over Legal Limit At Time of Crash

The former Republican staffer had an alcohol concentration of 0.10, above the limit of 0.08 for impaired driving, according to a urine sample analyzed by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Brodkorb was seriously injured after a vehicle he was driving struck the median wall on Interstate 35E in Mendota Heights Jan. 23.
