State Patrol: Brodkorb's Alcohol Level Was Over Legal Limit At Time of Crash

The former Republican staffer was seriously injured in a crash in late January.

The former Republican staffer had an alcohol concentration of 0.10, above the limit of 0.08 for impaired driving, according to a urine sample analyzed by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Brodkorb was seriously injured after a vehicle he was driving struck the median wall on Interstate 35E in Mendota Heights Jan. 23. Brodkorb was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
