Eagan Council Issues Stern Warning to Granite City Brewery

The Eagan restaurant and brewery has failed four alcohol compliance checks in the last three years and is currently serving a 30-day suspension.

But the council issued a stern admonition to the business during a Tuesday night hearing. "I don’t take these things lightly. I have a huge issue with serving and selling alcohol to minors," Eagan City Councilor Cyndee Fields said during the council meeting on Tuesday. Hey Mary~ Eagan police conduct citywide alcohol compliance checks on an annual basis, and in 2012 they visited 70 businesses. Eight of those businesses failed their compliance checks. I think it's safe to say that Granite City has attracted more attention than those other businesses because it failed four compliance checks in a three-year period.
