New Member Joins Caponi Art Park Board of Directors

Ramraj Singh served as the director of community education for Independent School District 196 and has held various positions in the Minneapolis School District.

Singh will bring his expertise in school district administration, city government planning, and public relations to assist Caponi Art Park in developing its education program and strengthening public awareness in the south metro and beyond. Eagan Foundation to Award 75 Scholarships, $10,000 in Community Grants

After years of giving, the foundation announces plans to give even more.

The Eagan Foundation, Inc. has been doing good work for years; now it wants to do more, said Eagan Foundation Chair Patti Engel. The foundation currently administers a scholarship program, awards community grants and serves as a fiduciary agent for charitable groups in Eagan. The scholarship program – which will award 75 scholarships to graduating high school students living in Eagan totaling $60,050 this year – has gotten the most attention in the past. While proud of their past efforts, foundation members are also looking at ways to expand the program in new directions, said Engel.
